Our signature Australian-made, water-based and silicone-free powdercoat rejuvenator and protectant.
Rig Revive brings depth and colour back to suitable faded, dull and weathered powdercoat while providing ongoing protection against UV exposure and the elements for up to 12 months
It can also be used on suitable new powdercoat to help maintain and protect its appearance from day one.

Designed to rejuvenate and protect tired rubber, vinyl, leather and compatible plastics without leaving behind a greasy silicone finish.

RIG REVIVE - POWDERCOAT

Generally suitable for powdercoat that is:
• Faded or sun damaged
• Dull or chalky

Heavily weathered, extremely chalky or previously treated powdercoat should always be tested first.
Previous waxes, silicones, dressings, coatings or other treatments may affect the final result.

SURFACE PREPARATION IS KEY
The final result starts with the prep.
Poor surface preparation can lead to poor application results, including streaking, patchiness or an uneven finish.
If a surface needs to be washed more than once -Â wash it again.
STEP 1 - CLEAN & PREP WITH RIG WASH
Thoroughly wash the surface with pH-neutral Rig Wash to remove dirt, grease, salt, road grime and contaminants.
Rinse thoroughly and allow the surface to completely dry before applying Rig Revive or Rig Renew.
Before applying either product, make sure the surface is:
• Clean
• Completely dry
• Cool to touch
• Out of direct sunlight
STEP 2 - RIG REVIVE | POWDERCOAT
CHECK THE CONDITIONS
Temperature, humidity and weather conditions directly affect how Rig Revive dries and cures.
Do not apply Rig Revive when the outside air temperature is below 10°C.
If temperatures are between 10–15°C, we recommend waiting for a warmer day where possible — ideally around 20°C.
Remember, the surface itself can be a different temperature to the surrounding air.
Do not apply if rain is imminent or the surface is likely to get wet during the drying period.
TEST FIRST
Always test Rig Revive on a small, inconspicuous area and allow it to fully dry before continuing.
Only proceed once you're satisfied with the test area.
APPLY LIGHTLY & EVENLY
Apply a small amount of Rig Revive to a lint-free Rig Wipe or suitable applicator.
Work in manageable sections using a light, even coat in one direction.
For large, flat surfaces, use an applicator pad rather than concentrated finger pressure through a wipe to help maintain even pressure.
Less is more.
Avoid excess product or allowing product to build up and run down the surface.
DON'T OVERWORK IT
Once Rig Revive begins to dry, leave it alone.
Do not rub, buff or repeatedly go back over the area. Overworking can contribute to streaking, patchiness or an uneven finish.
If you've missed an area, allow the coat to fully dry before correcting it.
ALLOW IT TO DRY
Drying time is weather dependent and will vary with temperature, humidity and surrounding conditions.
As a general guide, allow approximately 1 hour or more between coats in suitable conditions.
In cooler conditions below 15°C, allow approximately 2 hours or longer between coats.
Always judge the surface — not just the clock.
If the first coat still feels tacky, it is not dry. DO NOT apply the second coat.
Wait until the first coat is completely dry before continuing.
ALLOW IT TO CURE
Rig Revive continues to harden after application.
Depending on environmental conditions, it will generally take around 1–2 days to develop full hardness. In cooler conditions, the curing process may take up to 7 days.
Avoid unnecessary exposure to water, harsh cleaners or chemicals while the coating is curing.
STEP 3 - RIG RENEW | RUBBER, VINYL, LEATHER & SELECT PLASTICS
Always test Rig Renew on a small, inconspicuous area first, particularly when applying to plastics or an unfamiliar surface.
Only proceed once you're satisfied with the test area.
Apply a small amount of Rig Renew using a separate clean Rig Wipe or suitable applicator.
Apply lightly and evenly across the surface.
Less is more.
Do not oversaturate the surface. Allow Rig Renew to naturally dry and cure according to the product instructions.
KEEP YOUR APPLICATORS SEPARATE
Do not use the same Rig Wipe or applicator for Rig Revive and Rig Renew.
Your Ultimate Revival Kit includes two separate pouches of Rig Wipes - keep one for each product to prevent cross-contamination.
CLEAN YOUR TRIGGER NOZZLE AFTER USE
Always thoroughly rinse the trigger spray nozzle with clean water immediately after use.
Product left inside the trigger mechanism or nozzle can harden, causing blockages or preventing the trigger from working correctly.
Do not leave product sitting inside the trigger nozzle between uses.
REMEMBER
PREP PROPERLY. CHECK THE WEATHER. TEST FIRST. LIGHT COATS. LET IT DRY. DON'T OVERWORK IT.
SURFACE CONDITION MATTERS
Rig Revive and Rig Renew work with existing surfaces. They cannot repair physical damage, coating failure or deterioration within the underlying material.
Final results can be influenced by surface age, condition, integrity, previous treatments, preparation, application technique and environmental conditions.
Always test before full application.
RIG REVIVE LOOKS STREAKY OR UNEVEN
Common factors include:
• Too much product
• Uneven application pressure
• Overworking the product as it dries
• Applying to a warm or hot surface
• Direct sunlight
• Contamination or previous treatments
• Uneven deterioration of the existing powdercoat
For large, flat surfaces, use an applicator pad for more consistent pressure.
Do not immediately apply more product. Allow the surface to fully dry before assessing the finish.
MY POWDERCOAT LOOKS DAMAGED
Rig Revive cannot repair failed powdercoat.
Peeling, flaking, blistering, lifting, corrosion or loss of adhesion indicates deterioration of the existing coating.
Rejuvenating an aged surface may also make pre-existing imperfections or variations more noticeable.
RIG RENEW LOOKS UNEVEN OR DIFFERENT THAN EXPECTED
Stop application and allow the test area to fully dry.
Different rubber, vinyl, leather and plastic formulations may respond differently. Previous dressings, silicones, cleaners or treatments can also influence the result.
Do not continue across the entire surface if you're unhappy with the test area.
STOP IF YOU'RE UNSURE
Revival Off-Road does not manufacture or apply the original powdercoat, plastic, rubber, vinyl or leather and cannot guarantee the condition, integrity or compatibility of an existing surface.
It is the responsibility of the person applying the product to assess the surface, follow the application instructions and complete a test patch before full application.
If something doesn't look right, stop application and contact us before applying additional product.
WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN RIG REVIVE & RIG RENEW?
Rig Revive = powdercoat.
Rig Renew = rubber, vinyl, leather & select plastics.
They are not interchangeable.
WHY DO I NEED RIG WASH FIRST?
Proper prep matters. Rig Wash removes dirt, salt, grime and contaminants before applying Rig Revive or Rig Renew.
DO I NEED TO TEST FIRST?
Yes. Always. Test each product on a small, inconspicuous area and allow it to fully dry before continuing.
CAN RIG REVIVE FIX DAMAGED POWDERCOAT?
No. It rejuvenates intact powdercoat. It cannot repair peeling, flaking, blistering, corrosion or coating failure.
CAN I USE RIG RENEW ON ALL PLASTICS?
No. Rig Renew is suitable for select plastics. Always test compatibility first.
CAN I APPLY EITHER PRODUCT IN THE SUN?
No. Apply to clean, dry and cool surfaces out of direct sunlight.
HOW MUCH PRODUCT SHOULD I USE?

High UV, pollutants and harsh outdoor exposure may require more frequent cleaning and inspection.
CAN I USE THE SAME WIPE FOR REVIVE & RENEW?
No. Keep separate applicators for each product to prevent cross-contamination.
DO I NEED TO CLEAN THE TRIGGER NOZZLE?
